Eder Militao scored a last-minute goal as Real Madrid came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home to Elche.
Lucas Boye and Lucas Boye scored the goals for the visitors, with Luka Modric grabbing one before Milatao won a point for Madrid.
The Los Blancos could have taken the lead in the 33rd minute when a Helibelton Palacios poor challenge inside the penalty box was penalised as Real Madrid are awarded a penalty kick.
Karim Benzema stepped up but failed to beat the goalkeeper with his effort going inches over the crossbar.
Elche then punished the hosts just before the break as Boye got on to the end of a pass and it allowed him to finish into an empty net with a close-range header.
Real Madrid thought they had got a penalty after the break, but a VAR review overturned the referee’s decision.
Boye then turned provider in the 76th minute as he fed Milla inside the box, who was unmarked and buried the ball in the bottom left corner.
Modric then gave the hosts a lifeline with a goal from the spot in the 82nd minute, beating the outstretched arm of Edgar Badia in goal.
Militao then completed the comeback deep in added time as he latched on to a brilliant cross and gpt his head on the ball to put it low inside the right post.
This was the second time in the last three matches Madrid have dropped points, and lead the standings on 50 points, four ahead of second-placed Sevilla.
